1911 .45 ACP 100 Year Anniversary
March 29, 2011 marked the 100 year anniversary of the adoption of the M1911, .45 ACP by the US military. This time-honored handgun design remains a viable entity, not so much with today’s US Armed Forces, but militaries around the world, law enforcement, and civilians.
