funny how you “don’t have the time” to read the features of the programs, but you do have time to complain about it.

Why has Sibelius been shut down AND their whole staff sacked? I went to w w w . sibeliususers . org and found thousands of users protesting!

Pack of greedy shites Avid has to be told! Sell Sibelius back to the Finn Twins who designed it and offered twice to buy it back!

how do you add a rest ABOVE a note?

  9. tommyfirewire says:

If you would read everything in my reaction u would have made it out that I don’t have hours to read the manual to understand the basics of this program, you stupid fuck.

  10. mecromar says:

    RTFM!

  11. tommyfirewire says:

I don’t think this program is very userfriendly, I have to spend a lot of time memorizing key shortcuts and how things interact with eachother, I simply don’t have time to spend such a long time on this. and the things you would want to do most isn’t always easy to find, you advertise that this program is the easiest and fastest way to write music, and I find that statement false. It is anything but easy, this video also doesn’t cover the things you would want to do when you begin.

  12. ADWasinger says:

    ctrl+alt+t
click where you want to insert the new tempo, then right click the cursor.
    (quarter note = bpm)
am i movin to fast for you?

  13. alexgo4210 says:

    Ctrl+t

Terrible program, horrific user interface, catastrophic workflow

I can see that the ribbon toolbar has caused a few problems with certain people. They really should have made it optional because some people can’t stand ribbon toolbars. I can use it and I’m sure I could even like it, but some people can’t.

Hi! I was wondering if you have a solution for creating harp glissandi in Sibelius. It’s something that always bugged me because they don’t stay in place connected to the notes when moving the notes or when changing the page layout. Any help would be great!

  17. FlamingoSnuff says:

Can someone explain to me how to use tab in this? In 6, it was pretty obvious but I can’t figure it out in this. I need help ASAP.

  18. stoob1969 says:

Is there a way to get Sibelius to input the notes of a chord itself and get it to play back? All I ant to do is type in the chord for a guitar or piano, then write a solo part for another instrument and get it to play back. How do you achieve this in Sibelius?

    Thanks

I find it funny how much this looks like a notation version of microsoft word.

  20. edward qian says:

i don’t like this software very much, slow and too complicated

  21. kentavv says:

Plug-ins->Other->Set Metronome Mark, tap the mouse 12 times, and then edit the value. Yup, it’s convoluted.

  22. Garagebandnerd97 says:

you would of thought Microsoft owned Sibelius if you hadn’t of been told….

  23. Poradicus says:

This program was not easy to use at all, I had to revert back to Sibelius 6 which I like better, plus loading sounds required waiting 2 – 7 minutes depending on big your score was. Was not really user friendly as they said. In order for faster load times you need an SSD. Sorry for saying this but you need one otherwise you will be bottlenecked constnatly.

  24. charliebucket46 says:

it’s not clear how to change the tempo. i had to look it up and do a bunch of research, that’s a pain in the ass, therefore making it not user-friendly and making you the idiot.
