Ipod Touch Mobile POS Demo

The Touch-POS system offers a wide variety of Integration Configurations. POS Terminal Remote Control configuration: The sharing of a current standalone terminal on your mobile device. This configuration provides a direct interface with the current POS terminal screen. The mobile device is used as a remote control, however all the standard “one server waiting for another server to place their order and sign off” issues still apply. This integration would use the license of the POS terminal it is attached to, and may be the best “initial” handheld integration for tighter budgets. As a remote interface you will be able to place all your orders, send to kitchen and bar printers, review and add to your orders, place and review reservations, and all the other functions available to the server at the regular standalone terminal. Customer receipt printing and final Tab/Bill/Check processing may still have to be done on the standalone terminal if addtional mobile receipt printers and card swipe systems are not integrated with the handheld POS system. Independent Additional Virtual POS Terminal configuration – shared: This configuration provides a direct interface with an additional Virtual POS Terminal. The mobile device is connected to a separate instance of the POS Terminal allowing independent access to the standalone terminal station and the virtual POS terminal stations simultaniously. This integration may or may not require additional licensing depending on the POS software
